To The Blue Sky. . .
4.18.2005
Saturday was Edgefest. A day filled with sweat, hardcore, and some good times. Me and Ian left around 10:30ish (after showering a packing lunches) and arrived around 1:00. Oh, and on the way there I got a speeding ticket. 83 in a 65. $230.60. Yeah, no good. But anyways, I wasn't going to let it ruin my day. The first band was called Black Hand Tactics and they basically ruled. Then there were a bunch of other bands, then Fallen Sparrows. They tore it up as per usual. Then some more bands, then In the Face of War! Those guys were so sweet. If you like Comeback Kid and the like, you should check them out. And I talked to the guitarist, and they might just come play Janesville on the 20 of May. Because I told them I'd hook them up right. Then more bands. There were two really sweet bands called Vindicated and Underminded. They were both very different but very sweet in there own ways. Then finally, the reason I went, Nodes of Ranvier. They dominated of course. And after their set, me and Ian skipped out of Haste the Day in favor of getting home to sleep. We made it in around 1:30.
